Common Shingle (Shingleteria compositum)

Recent strong and gusty Spring winds resulted a fine crop of Common Shingles (Shingleteria compositum) sprouting in our yard.

Oh no. It sounds like you will have to heal your roof with a new layer of shingles.

you made me laugh - even with the latin scientific name! :)

we've had terrible winds too - and finally thunderstorms. we have quite a few bundles of oak leaves all around the yard, but gladly no shingles...

Oh, Marvin. I'm sorry you lost some shingles, but you really had me going for a while! The wind has been whipping around down here, too, but I think my roof is still secure. Maybe I ought to check.
